There are three primary components to the Instructional Software Development Kit:
- The Behavior Library provides code, in the form of Stencyl behaviors, which provide assorted functionality: User input and output, server communication, graphing, etc.
- The Actor Library is a library of pre-configured actors, which supply user interface functionality.
- The Mathematics Development Engine Extension provides code, in the form of "code blocks", which allow for evaluation of mathematical expressions.
